You get too much out of that...and you start ruining it. It turns into Maplestory..with that NXbucks.

If you aren't familiar with that, Maplestory is a free Side scrolling MMO, they make their money by offering to sell you (for real money) "NXbucks" that can be used in an ingame store to buy special Armor, Items, etc. It really split the game, and of course they got money hungry, so basically ANYTHING decent has to be boguht through NXbucks..

It won't ruin this game by selling in game items. Like all weapons in game... its basically a re-skin of existing weapons. So lets say if they sold a "Chaos Blade" online for 10 bucks, it wouldn't provide any advantage to the player who bought it.. as it will probably be R9 15-22 w/ an inscription slot. But if Anet wants to be greedy and convince ignorant people to buy reskinned items... it wouldn't seem like a bad way to make money in their perspective.

Auras and things.... you know, useless cosmetic things that look wicked awesome but don't do anything but lag up those with poor connections/computers.

For instance, I'd love an aura of some sort... I don't feel like shelling out $200 for prophecies collector's edition just for the key.

I've read a lot of posts in this thread and this seems to be one of the most frequently requsted items.

I don't ever see it happening - that's why they sell extra character slots.

What I'd like to see is a SALE in the on-line store.

They're saving tons of money by not having to produce CDs/DVDs, artwork, packaging or any transportation costs. Why not pass the savings along to us?

I've seen prophecies on sale for $19.95 but haven't been able to get there. If the store had it for that price I'd buy it today.

If they had mini-pets for sale that weren't tradeable/sellable I'd probably be willing to spend a few bucks.

All the ones I've seen on e-bay for the past 2 months go for $400 US. - No freaking way, even if i got every mini-pet, every weapon, everything for free. $400 you gotta be kidding.

Wardrobe Storage.
My armor cant be sold or transferred to any other players/characters and they dont give me any advantage over others. I just like having a variety or armors to change between.

I've bought "Core", Nightfall and Factions skill unlock packs in the store.

Plus isn't there a unlock kit just for PvP that unlcoks everything?

Things that I would like to see are SF like updates for a small fee or even make a team out of GW fans to make/mod new content which Anet would then cut and paste.

The amount of unrevealed map is huge and when you put your mind to it there's heaps of things that people can come up with. Come to think of it I would love to see a competion run where people thought of a small story or setting which could be the scene for the winners new content huge or small.
In unison with this competion could be another run for modders who would work on the content with a select few and in return Anet could chuck them a few duped minipets of some description.

About five years ago I wanted a bird cage that didnt exist to sell to my customers so I asked a very willing supplier to make me one for retail.
On his next trip to china he gave my crappy design to his little contact and with in 2 months I had this cage and was flogging it to every man and his dog. Now I know that my wife would nag the poo out of me if you guys had a gwen doll and just think of all the girls or guys that play GW that would want one.

Why the hell do they think nano ipods with three year old artwork on it is gonna convince me, a diehard GW fan, its worth another five hundred bucks than a new nano. Na sorry but I would rather take the GW box with me on a jog around the block or down to the gun club if im that sort of person which im not and this doesnt mean im the sort to cry myself to sleep with a Gwen doll either.

Mini-charges for every Collector's Edition bonus that can't be traded. Like Divine Aura, the disco ball/shining light, and the backdancers. I would plunk down another $10 just to have Divine Aura on my characters (a bargain considering sealed copies of Prophecies CE go for $400+ on eBay).

I mean you offer Charakterslots in the shop, but most people i know long for more inventory space. Sure you can buy character slots and abuse them as mule for extended inventory space, but that seems somewhat unhandy.
How about some purchasable upgrade for the Xunlai-Chest that gives it more space or a slider that adds a wardrobe which can carry weapon and armor.

CHARR SLIPPERS!!!!!!!!!! (I know this is something for the penny arcade store, but i dont care) I want my Charr slippers. By dog ate my walmart specials and they need replacing. I WANT CHARR SLIPPERS. And with that said, more storage with out having to buy a charicter slot. Would rather have it in the Xunlia chest. I totally agree with Zraak. Aspecially for armor.
